Game Chat Rules
- Discussion of Third-Party Projects
Advertising or discussing other games or projects of a similar genre that may compete with ours is prohibited. - Political Topics
Discussion of politics is strictly prohibited. This includes slogans, political appeals, comments on political events, or any discussions on political topics. The game maintains a neutral political stance, and this rule helps keep the atmosphere calm and friendly. - Insults and Provocations
Any statements intended to humiliate, insult, or provoke other participants are prohibited. Avoid rudeness, personal attacks, and conflicts. Be polite and respectful to others. - Racism and Discrimination
Any form of racism, xenophobia, or discrimination based on race, nationality, or ethnicity is strictly forbidden. Such statements offend other participants and are strictly prohibited. - 18+ Content
Discussion of topics related to violence, cruelty, sexual content, or other material inappropriate for a general audience is prohibited. - Profanity
Do not use obscene language or harsh expressions. We strive to maintain a respectful and cultured atmosphere in the chat. - Trolling
Deliberate provocation of other participants, mocking, or distorting facts to elicit a negative reaction is not allowed. - Abuse of Capital Letters
Messages written entirely in CAPITAL LETTERS can be irritating and distracting to other users. Use them only when necessary—and in moderation. - Nicknames
Nicknames containing insults, provocations, or violations of the rules above are prohibited. A nickname is considered a full message and must comply with the same rules. - Spam
Do not send multiple identical or useless messages that interfere with other users. - Impersonating
Administrators Using nicknames that may mislead others into thinking you are a moderator or administrator is prohibited. - Messages in Other Languages
Write only in the language supported by this community to maintain mutual understanding among participants. Exception: in the global chat, players may communicate in any language. - Account Sales
Any offers to buy, sell, or transfer accounts are prohibited. This violates security and privacy rules. - Sharing Personal Information
It is strictly forbidden to disclose other users’ personal information—phone numbers, email addresses, passwords, etc. Violations will result in severe penalties. - Criticism of the Project and Developers
Open criticism of the game, its creators, or calls to shut down the project are prohibited. This includes negative reviews, insults, calls for boycotts, or any messages directed against the developers or the game.
Consequences of Rule Violations
- Temporary Ban: For rule violations, an account may be temporarily blocked for 24 hours to 1 month, depending on the severity of the violation. Issued by the developer.
- Permanent Ban: Repeated violations or creating a new account to bypass penalties will result in a permanent ban. Issued by the developer.
- Chat Ban: Violations of chat rules may result in being unable to send messages for 1 hour to 30+ days. Chat bans do not apply to private messages. Issued by a moderator or developer.
- Nickname Change: If your nickname violates the rules, moderators may change it to a “standard” nickname (e.g., Renamed_12345; numbers will vary). If you see that your nickname has changed, it means a moderator or developer has done so. You can rename it again via your profile for 200 gold—but make sure the new nickname does not violate the rules.
Appealing a Penalty
If you want more information about a ban or wish to appeal it, contact Technical Support: (Select Project → Modern Warships. Category → Account Ban.) Provide all necessary information and submit a detailed request. If needed, you may attach screenshots or other evidence proving your innocence. If the information proves the ban was unjust, it may be revised or canceled.
Note: Moderators are not allowed to disclose the reason for a ban. Repeated questions like “Why was I banned?” can be considered provocation or spam and may result in sanctions. The most a moderator can do is redirect you to support for more information.
Important Information
- Moderator: A user who has proven themselves as a responsible member of the community. Moderators enforce penalties such as restricting chat messages (“mute”). They act as a bridge between players and developers, allowing feedback, reporting of violations, or bug reporting.
- Developer: An employee of Artstorm directly involved in the game.
- Moderators and developers can be identified by a shimmering sheriff star next to their nickname. Players claiming to be a moderator or developer without this star are likely fraudulent. Do not trust them.
