Ranked Mode Guide

From level 23, players gain access to Ranked Mode. This article explains how it works in detail and what rewards you can earn by playing it.

Ranked Battles Start: Qualification

Ranked battles begin with qualification, which consists of 5 matches played with other players who are also qualifying. Based on your performance in these matches, your initial rank will be determined. If you play 10 or more ranked battles during a ranked season, auto-qualification will occur: the system will determine your starting rank automatically, but it will be slightly lower than normal.

Ranks and Rewards

The difference between each subsequent rank is 200 points. The higher the rank, the greater the reward in seasonal ranked coins. If a player finishes a ranked season in Platinum (for example, Platinum I), they receive the title “Platinum Season 1”; finishing in Diamond grants the title “Diamond Season 1”. There is also a Top 50 leaderboard for the ranked season based on points earned. At the end of the season, these players receive Artcoins and the title “Champion Season 1.”

Ranked Points

The number of ranked points awarded depends on the match result and the player’s position within the team.

• Win: points are awarded
• Loss: points are deducted
• Draw: a small number of points may be gained or lost

The number of points earned also depends on the difference between the ranks of the players on the teams. If the opposing team is stronger, the number of points earned for a victory increases. The opposite is also true—the number of points earned for a victory over a weaker opposing team will be lower.

If a player disconnects from the internet before the end of a battle, points will still be awarded according to the same rules once the connection is restored.

Season Duration

Each ranked season lasts 28 days and begins on the 1st day of the month. The season is divided into four 7-day periods. In each period, four ship classes receive a x2 bonus to ranked points earned. The number of bonus battles for one ship class is limited to 15.

Restrictions

Any equipment or ships added to the game cannot be used in Ranked Mode for two months after their release. Developers may also manually restrict access to ranked battles for any ships or equipment, even if more than two months have passed since their addition. If a ship or piece of equipment has a special icon, it means it can be used in Ranked Mode.

Ranked Currency and Ranked Shop

For the first 10 ranked battles per day, players earn ranked combat coins. The amount depends on battle performance, including damage dealt, kills, and assists. After completing qualification, seasonal ranked coins are awarded at the end of the ranked season.

Ranked coins can be spent in the Ranked Shop:

• 900 ranked combat coins can be exchanged for 5 seasonal ranked coins or for a special consumable called “Rank Protection”, which prevents the loss of ranked points in one battle.
• The same consumable can also be purchased for 700 gold. In all cases, the next purchase of the same item becomes available after 24 hours.

Seasonal ranked coins can be used to purchase customization items, equipment, and ships from the Ranked Shop. The shop updates at the start of each new season, while items from previous seasons remain available permanently.
